Community Foundation Scholarships


Fremont Area Community Foundation awards hundreds of scholarships annually to Newaygo County students and residents bound for college or pursuing career certification.

Completing the FACF general scholarship application puts students in the running for over 90 scholarships. The scholarships are financed by permanently endowed funds held by the community foundation. In 2013, we awarded over 600 scholarships totaling $764,000!

Applications are accepted from January 1 to March 1.

Nontraditional/Adult Student Scholarships

Are you thinking about going back to school? Are you seeking to reinvent
yourself by obtaining a degree, certificate, or credential? Do you find that
most postsecondary financial aid is only available to high school seniors?

If so, you may qualify for a nontraditional student scholarship from the

SCHOLARSHIP GUIDE
